Spring Fork Softail Bobber Chassis Kit 1986 / 2016 FLSTS

Spring Fork softail bobber chassis kit for mechanical brake drum brake system not included. A plain cateye dash base and chrome cover is included. The idea is to use all components from any Evolution or Twin Cam softail model engine transmission drive train rear wheel and caliper forward controls and an oil tank. Many Softail components required for this build are available used for purchase so it is a more economical build and least expensive way to build a period looking bobber. The FLSTS Spring Fork will allow use of the disc brake assembly from this type of Spring Fork. *NOTE: The Fat bobs included features mounts for early type shift gates with a smooth pattern for use with 5 speed transmissions. A black fork assembly may be substituted for the chrome. *NOTE: Frame has mechanical brake cross shaft tube welded in place. The replica retro wishbone frame is updated to accept flat side tanks. Original forged parts include: neck side car mounts and the rear axle area.
