Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set 1947 / 1950 FL

Bobbed gas tank set has provision to accept early caps reserve shut off rod and two or three light dash with a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Includes an Eagle Iron emblem set with black lettering gas cap set and shift gate. Tank features indents for shifter gate. Check the shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: Set includes 4 speed gate chrome shift lever emblem and cap set. Fuel shut off rod and mount bolts not included. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
