Bobbed 2.3 Gallon Gas Tank 2004 / 2006 XL

Bobbed gas tank accepts a left side petcock and has a fuel capacity of 2.3 gallons. Features a raw finish without a gas cap. Tank is for Carb use only. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged durig painting for easy installaion of petcock. Order vented bung cap separately. Relocation of the ignition coil may be required on some models to do so order mount separately. Before installation or painting check gas tank for any flaws. Use proper hardware for the installation process.
