This chrome side oil tank is for Xl models with electric start. The shape of the mount bracket is for 1967 - early 1978 electric start XLH models. *NOTE: Tank may be retro-fitted to 1954-1966 model XLH by attaching (welding) mount tabs to the frame to accept pattern of the bracket on this 1967-1978 type of tank. *NOTE: Must order cap separately.
