Panhead 74 Short Block 1955 / 1962 FL

Assembled and tested for oil pressure. 74 Short block is shipped fully assembled. Unit features Replica crankcases Sifton oil and breather assembly stock stroke flywheel tapered bearing assembly stock cam properly installed with a matched pinion and cam gear with Torrington bearing. Assembly is supplied with natural a cam cover and lifter blocks that are fitted with standard tappets. Tappets will accept a hydraulic lifter unit or solid conversion kit sold separately. Number boss is blank so the builder can stamp their own numbers to match the year of the Panhead they are assembling. *NOTE: Tapered bearing shims for final assembly are available separately. *NOTE: The lower end tapered bearing is 1969-up style and is fitted as such. *NOTE: Short block will provide oil to feed overhead oiler type heads.
