883cc Conversion Piston Set .010 Oversize

Keith Black dish piston set is .010 oversize with a 9.0:1 compression ratio for 1986-up XL Evolution models. This Keith Black 390 hypereutectic 3.5 inch bore piston kit with a 9:1 compression is alloy cast in a permanent steel mold which makes it possible to build a light weight piston that makes more power runs quietly uses less fuel & lasts longer than any other type of piston. The low heat transfer of the alloy keeps the skirts cool so piston expansion is minimal. Piston set includes Hasting Moly ring set. Use with a 3.812 inch stroke and a dish head. 2009-UP XL 883 cylinders cannot be overboard to 1200cc . 2009-UP applications will require separate purchase of 1200cc cylinders to be used with piston kit. **Note:Run engine at moderate speeds for at least 500 miles avoiding excessive running in lower gears in order to properly break-in new pistons and rings.
