Bare distributor top features an updated design assembled with genuine blue streak points and condensers. For use with one piece automotive points. This is top only unassembled. Distributor top is zinc plated and machined with counter sunk hole in order to accept blue streak point set. Can be adapted to distributor bases on all models. Condenser is placed under this top mounts on underside on existing mount stud. Base and gear not included. *NOTE: Requires 3 pieces of OEM #2626 Round Head Screws 8-32 inch x 1/4 inch long. *NOTE: For use with late 1970-1978 one piece type point sets. Retro distributor base includes insulator post installed. The one piece point set has a jumper wire to connect to the post on the underside of the condenser which is mounted by a single threaded 8-32 x 1/4 inch phillips head screw its wire connects to the insulator stud. The lead wire from the coil connects to the insulated stud on the underside of the base. For complete assembly with blue streak point installed use V-Twin 32-1636 blue streak distributor top kit.
