Bobbed 3.2 Gallon One Piece Gas Tank 2004 / 2006 XL

Gas tank has a raw finish with a left side petcock location and a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons. Tank is dual cap type. This tank is shorter in length than the stock tank. Tank accepts stock components and is for carburetor models. Use with 1975-up petcock and proper hardware for installation process. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. *NOTE: This item contains a chemical that is know to cause cancer or birth defects. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
