Wyatt Gatling Bobbed 2.3 Gallon Gas Tank 2000 / 2006 FXST

Bobbed gas tank accepts a left side petcock and has a fuel capacity of 2.3 gallons. Tank includes mounting hardware. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Order vented bung cap separately. Relocation of the ignition coil may be required on some models to do so order motor mount separately. Accepts 22mm petcock with nut the petcock hole is forward on the left side. See web photos. *NOTE: Universal mounting may require an additional hole in rear tab and spacers in front mount location. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
