Replica Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set 1947 / 1965 FL

Bobbed gas tank set comes with reserve and hand shift shift mounts. Tank features provisions to accept early caps reserve shut off rod and two or three light dash. The lower bracket is C shaped. Gas tank set accepts two vented caps. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seam or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal in order to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The s hut off opening should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
