Factory rear fender brace widths. There are 3 different widths used throughout the year of 1936-1950. In general match to the Spring Fork front fender brace width.

5/8inch wide for years 1936-1941 3/4inch wide for years 1951-1957 7/8inch wide for years 1942-1950

Replacement fenders available from H-D dealers have 3/4inch braces.
