The blocks also have tabs to mount a sissy bar or fender brace to facilitate mounting the rear fender to the swingarm  for the  floating  rear fender look. There are also 5\/16 x 18 drilled and tapped holes on the swing arm for mounting and  floating . Shock mounts are 1\/2 x 20 thread.
